Like any other pistol in the Battle Royale genre, these weapons work best in the early stages of any match. Most noteworthy, their damage and attachments slots, are minimal compared to the rest of the other weapon’s categories; sadly, the Apex Legends RE-45 is not an exception. Hence, if you’re finding one as your first gun, they’re always welcome; but, when you find something else out there, do not hesitate and make the trade. Still though, mastering every single pistol in the game can give a lot of advantage in the early stages of the game, and possibly give you better chances to survive the first minutes of any random match.
- Maximum body damage: 11 (16 Head Damage). Average damage and damage per second (DPS), always rhymes with pistols in every single game. Above all, this damage is better than hitting your opponents with your fists and gives you an advantage with some range.
- Attachments: Barrel Stabilizer, Extended Light Mag, 1x Holo, 1x Digital Threat, 1x-2x Variable Holo, 1x HCOG Classic, 2x HCOG Bruiser, 3x HCOG Ranger, 2x-4x Variable AOG. Some modifications can give you better handling and more bullets for your pistol. Therefore, finding these attachments are always welcome. Most noteworthy, you have the option to detach and use them for another weapon if needed.
- Ammo type: Light Rounds. Easy to find and accumulate in your inventory. Still, though, it is best to store the ammunition for better weapons like submachine guns or something else that can give you better advantages.
- Preferred range: Short, Mid (With Mods). Landing your bullets in critical places with some range in between will surely give you advantages. Therefore, every scope has the potential to help you land your shots with precision.
The more you know about the game, the better. Therefore, mastering your skills with every weapon can always give you an advantage or two. Furthermore, the Apex Legends RE-45 is still one of the best pistols in the game and is always a great option in the early stages.
