April is one heck of a month for the online betting world.
That’s the case yearly with March Madness betting coming to a crashing halt, but this year specifically it’s going to be intense for very different reasons.
You can still bet on the 2019 Final Four and whatever else suits you, but the betting genre that really has my interest right now is of the entertainment variety.
Not only will I be taking time out of my days over the course of the next month to dive into a variety of TV shows and movies, but I’ll be pondering which entertainment betting markets also are worthy of my cash.
I’ll be touching on my favorite entertainment bets I see online, but before you get too much into this, be sure to locate a few entertainment betting websites you can rely on.
Here are your best options.
You can stretch your neck further depending on where you find your favorite wagers and which sites offer the best odds. These sites do provide some of the best odds/wagers, though, and are also among the most reputable options out there.
If you’re with me on potentially betting on Avengers: Endgame prop bets, deciding where to bet on Game of Thrones wagers, and so much more, join me as I break down April’s most alluring entertainment betting opportunities.
Avengers: Endgame Prop Bets
Avengers: Infinity War left us all on the edge. I don’t want to give too much away for anyone who isn’t yet caught up in the MCU, but time’s a-wastin’ if you’re still left behind.
The latest installment of the Avengers franchise hits theaters everywhere on April 26th, and that’s when this first big entertainment prop bet will officially expire.
By then, everyone will find out if Marvel finally kills off one of their main superheroes and who it ends up being.
Here are the odds for who dies first in Avengers: Endgame.
This isn’t to say nobody else could be killed off first, but I tend to agree these are the most likely characters on the chopping block.
In fact, heroes like Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor have been following a trajectory that suggests their Marvel storylines will be wrapped up in some manner.
What Disney opts to do with this franchise moving forward will obviously dictate things a bit, but Chris Evans (the actor who plays Captain America) has been the most vocal about this likely being his final appearance in the Avengers franchise.
The logic points to Captain America being taken out first, and the beauty is you’re still getting solid value (+120). I’ll still shed a tear or three when any of these heroes go down, of course.
If you’re looking for more Avengers: Endgame betting opportunities, head over to Bovada. They have props for most of the main characters as well as how the movie may do at the box office.
There’s also a prop at MyBookie asking if Deadpool will make an appearance (+750 for Yes), so there is no denying the options are endless when it comes to this highly-anticipated film.
Game of Thrones Season 8 Prop Bets
For some entertainment markets, you may have to settle for the top option or just a breakdown of what amounts to a massive category.
That’s certainly the case for season eight Game of Thrones wagers, which seem to know no limit. I actually broke down a ton of Game of Thrones prop bets not too long ago and have been covering this entertainment betting market for years.
Much like Jon Snow, I probably know nothing.
However, I get the sense that season eight is going to be full of death and highly interesting. If you pick the right wager to put money down on, it also could potentially be rewarding for your pocketbook.
There is an insane amount of Game of Thrones wagers to target at a litany of betting websites, but the most popular are probably “who will die first?” and “who will rule the Iron Throne?”
You needn’t stop there, of course. There are character death matchups, props involving who will kill Cersei Lannister, who is next on Arya Stark’s hit list, and it just keeps going.
Bovada, SportsBetting.ag, and MyBookie.ag have been the leading sites for betting on Game of Thrones thus far. With the show due to return to HBO on April 14th, I understand that even these sites have pulled a lot of their props.
MyBookie and SportsBetting.ag remain the two best spots to find those wagers, however.
Betting on Superhero Fever
I’ve been over and through the superhero betting market, so I won’t beat it to death here. Still, there are prop bets concerning who will be the next Batman, Green Lantern, Superman, and even James Bond for good reason.
Heck, you could keep going with iconic characters like Indiana Jones.
Hollywood has been no stranger to rebooting franchises, and studios have even had the gall to jumpstart another Batman franchise before the previous one (which was an amazing success) is even a decade old.
That might rub me the wrong way, but I’m still interested to see who the studios end up casting, and I’m even more interested in betting on which actors take over such huge roles.
MyBookie.ag is the only site I see offering these types of wagers right now. They’ve since taken down their Batman prop bet, but you can still bet on who will be the next Green Lantern, Superman, and James Bond.
Here is the odds-on favorite for each character.
Green Lantern – Tom Cruise+130
Superman – Tyler Hoechlin+125
James Bond – Tom Hiddleston+110
Provided the favorites don’t end up being named the new leads for these movies, there could be a lot of value to tap into here.
I’ve actually written on each of these props in the past, and I came away with options like Armie Hammer (+650) for Green Lantern and Tom Hardy (+600) for James Bond.
Nobody knows who will actually be cast for these roles just yet, so taking a stab at a logical star that also offers upside may not be a bad idea.
Betting on Justin Bieber’s Future
I don’t pretend to know much about Justin Bieber. I know he’s an incredibly famous pop star, used to date Selena Gomez, and he’s presently married to Hailey Baldwin.
I also know he was roasted on Comedy Central, and he seems pretty troubled. He also could win you some cash if you know more than I do.
My job isn’t necessarily to point you to a winning Justin Bieber prop bet but to tell you that they’re out there for you to peruse.
There were actually some Justin Bieber prop bets on Bovada at one point that dealt with Bieber’s marriage, so there are always going to be weird wagers you can hunt down.
If you’re a diehard Bieber fan, perhaps tracking his life is only enhanced with the opportunity to in a sense get paid to know more than you need to about a pop icon.
Regardless, there is a Justin Bieber prop at Bovada right now asking if he’ll release a new album in 2019.
The latest Justin Bieber news finds him in therapy and generally in good spirits, but it sounds like he’s genuinely putting his state of mind ahead of any other distractions.
I certainly wish Bieber nothing but the best, but I like the value here for a guy who has bigger fish to fry at the moment. Nothing is likely quite as cathartic as getting in the studio, writing, and recording, but it’s also got to be rather stressful.
I’d just take the value here and bank on Bieber dropping something new in 2020.
Bet on WWE: WrestleMania 35 Props
Feel free to bet on WrestleMania 35 specifically, or just use this as a friendly reminder to bet on the WWE in general moving forward.
You shouldn’t see much of a limit to your options.
There is a prop out there pondering if former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will make professional wrestling his next career choice. Right there, you have to know there are no boundaries in trying to make money betting on the WWE.
This week is the time to profit off of WrestleMania, and the clock is ticking in that regard. However, there is a slew of WrestleMania 35 prop bets to hop on, including the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Braun Strowman (-120 at BetOnline) leads the way, but it’s anyone’s guess who comes out on top.
Outside of numerous WrestleMania 35 wagers, there’s also a compelling post-event bet that everyone will be clamoring about. That deals with Ronda Rousey’s future, as some are speculating she could take a break from the WWE.
Here are the odds for whether or not that happens.
The announcement of any scheduled break has to come by April 16th to be considered a winning ticket by BetOnline, but there have been whispers about this for some time.
Now would admittedly be a good time for Rousey to step away for a bit, while two things have been known for some time: she wants to get pregnant, and she has film projects.
With the star wanting to start a family and being in such high demand, it wouldn’t be crazy if Rousey did step away for a bit. She does have a contract with the WWE, but if it includes scheduled breaks for various reasons, betting on the “yes” side of this one could be easy money.
There are also the big-ticket matches, like Brock Lesnar (+100) versus Seth Rollins (-140) and a three-woman match between Rousey (+450), Becky Lynch (-350), and Charlotte Flair (+300).

Amy Schumer Baby: Boy or Girl?
Not every entertainment prop bet deals with a huge event or betting on movies or television. Much like the Justin Bieber prop bet, this one touches on comedian Amy Schumer and her child.
Some things shouldn’t be bet on, to be sure, but if you’re looking for a fun 50/50 wager, hop on over to MyBookie.ag, where you get a nice -110 price for whichever side you choose.
There isn’t any way to break this down, really, but perhaps news leaks about the sex of the baby, and you can hop on this wager before the prop is taken down. That, or you can use your own intuitive sense to figure it out.
Many people believe you can tell whether a baby will be a boy or a girl based off of various pregnancy symptoms. Check out Schumer’s Netflix special and stay dialed into any Amy Schumer news if you plan on attacking this wager.
The whole point of this post is to remind bettors that there are always fun entertainment prop bets to consider, and literally as I write this, there are quite a few active bets worth betting on.
Unfortunately, that simply isn’t always the case.
I remember writing similar posts in the past, and I had to really do some deep digging for even a tiny list of entertainment prop bets that in all honesty were months old — if not longer.
It’s already April, and a lot of these movie releases, TV series, and pending props will slowly but surely come and go. Once the movies are out and the shows return to TV, those props erode, and then you’re left hoping more entertainment wagers come around the corner.
I’m sure more will be here in the form of Stranger Things 3 betting, The Walking Dead prop bets, and other celebrity wagers. However, there is no time like the present to exploit solid betting value, and April presently offers some of the best entertainment wagering I’ve personally seen in a while.
Whether you decide to bet on these entertainment props or not is up to you. However, April promises to be quite entertaining, and I can only hope May ends up being half as exciting.
